ATS-safe template
Atlas resume template

Who it suits
Atlas is the plainest one-column page on Folio: navy name, thin rules, no icons and no photo by default. Use it when you are applying through a portal, to a large employer, or into finance, operations, administration or government and want the content to do all the work.
How the layout works
- One column from top to bottom, with name, headline and contact in the header.
- Thin rules under section headings and a navy accent on the name.
- No contact icons and no photo by default.
- Comfortable spacing so a dense career still reads clearly.
ATS notes
Atlas is labelled ATS-safe: one column, real text, no tables or text boxes. That is the layout most parsers handle best. No tool can promise how a particular employer’s software will treat a file.
When to pick something else
You want the page itself to show personality for a design or creative application. Pick Editorial, Marquee or Cards instead.
Tips for filling it in
- Keep headings plain: Experience, Education, Skills.
- Shorten bullets before shrinking margins if you run just over a page.
- Navy or ink accents look more conservative than a bright colour.
Atlas template questions
How is Atlas different from Classic?
Both are single-column and ATS-safe. Atlas uses a navy sans look with no icons; Classic uses a serif mix and a deeper red accent.
Can I add a photo?
There is a photo slot, off by default. Follow the norm for where you are applying.
